Hello
I cannot make you better. Only you can do that yourself! I can, however, show you the way. I am more of a guide. One with a lot of knowledge and experience.
What can I do? I am a maximizer; I help people grow. I am a connector; I work based on what I feel. More than 50 years of martial arts experience, 45 of which I spent teaching. A successful business career in the telecom industry, giving me business knowledge and experience. And finally... Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately: I am an expert by experience. I, too, have come from a deep hole.
My story
At the age of 12, inspired by Kung Fu on TV, I started Kyokushinkai karate. This is a full-contact sport. I am now well into my 60s. I have taught for 45 of those years. The interesting thing about this martial art is that I have learned a few basic lessons from it: 1) Never give up, 2) never fight alone, 3) a little bit doesn't help, it is all or nothing, and 4) beyond fear is relaxation.
These are just a few examples. Simply anticipating a blow means you can 'read' a body and a movement. That helps in everyday life. Your posture says it all; do you make yourself small or do you dare to show yourself? Can you recover after an intense emotion? Can you restore your balance? Fundamentally, life is at its best when you feel comfortable in your own skin and experience peace in your body. You can do a lot about that yourself.
I have also experienced virtually everything myself. I have a great career in the telecom industry behind me, with management experience, successes, and handsome bonuses. I obtained my NIMA-C (marketing). I owned my own marketing automation company. With this, I completely failed and ended up in a deep hole.
Climbed out of that again and found more inspiration and satisfaction in coaching and training.
KANDO literally means "Intense feeling of satisfaction." My training and coaching work from this feeling: What is needed, and what tools do I offer to experience this feeling? I always work towards an intense feeling of satisfaction. With this, I offer people exercises and tools to compensate for panic, anxiety, worries, stress, and depression with more positive feelings, so that you can regain your balance. In doing so, I apply four very simple basic rules: Pay attention to your posture; how you stand partly determines whether you produce helpful or unhelpful hormones. Pay attention to your "self-talk." What conversation are you keeping going in your head, and what words are you using? The third rule concerns breathing. Are you using your diaphragm? Are you breathing low and slowly? Can you lengthen your exhalation? And finally, rule four: Get moving. Go do something, get moving. Sports are not always the answer, although intense release can often help.
I offer you KANDO. All my life lessons, all my experiences, and my filled "toolbox." I have only one goal: to show you a way forward. You have to do it, but I can help you find your path.
P.S. If you don't have any money (sorry, I have to make a living too..), there's still a good chance I'll help you.
